Abstract Delight

I had the MOST FUN making these bright, happy paintings for a recent client:

What a dream project:  the client sent me photos of their beautiful living space and let me run free with the content for the walls.

Part of our decision-making process was determining the perfect shape.

It doesn't hurt that the client's space is filled with all of my faaaavorite colors.  Pink, orange, coral, gold, white... I'm drooling.

Just testing them out in my own living room...

I love the versatility of these square abstracts.  They can hang vertically or horizontally and still look great together.

A real challenge and BLAST was working with delicate gold leaf.  I'll never get it all out of the studio... but I'm happy to have the reminder.

I bet you'll never guess the original inspiration for the composition.  It's very Richmond-centric.  If someone can guess, I'll make you an abstract painting for just the cost of shipping.  (No cheating if I already told you!)

These pieces were so FUN, I can't wait to do more!
